In accordance with the RHPA, a Council must be established to manage and conduct the business affairs of the College and to carry out the College’s mandate. Council member participation is an important and ongoing pursuit to represent the best interests of the audiology and speech-language pathology professions. We ask that you consider participating in the regulatory and business affairs of the College to ensure that the organization continues to maintain their focus as leaders in their profession.  Most Council meetings are held virtually and are scheduled throughout the week. Council members are remunerated for their services. Please do not hesitate to contact the registrar/executive director for additional information.

At this time, elections to Council will be held in October to fill three expiring terms. The term for these positions will be until October 31, 2025.

The following positions are open for nomination and election:

  • District 1 One (1) speech-language pathologist 
  • District 2 One (1) speech-language pathologists
  • District 2 On e (1) audiologist
