Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) Jurisprudence Module
For the 2023 CASLPM Registration and Renewal year, all Full, Provisional and Non-Practising registrants will have to complete the RHPA JM. In subsequent years, only the new and Provisional registrants will have to complete the RHPA JM.
By completing the Regulated Health Professions Act Jurisprudence Module new applicants and registrants of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba will gain a greater knowledge of the regulatory framework that guides the Audiology/Speech-Language Pathology Professions in Manitoba. The module highlights the laws and standards that are regulated under the RHPA providing one with a greater understanding of the scope of practice, and the roles and responsibilities of the College, registrant and the employer. Ultimately, awareness of jurisprudence will assist in the provision of safe, competent and ethical care.
