The College regulates the professions of audiology and speech – language pathology. All audiologists and speech – language pathologists who wish to practise these professions in the province of Manitoba must be registered with the College. The College regulates by ensuring high – quality services are provided by those professionals registered with the College in order to serve and protect the public interest.
Call for Presentation Proposals / Topics
The College hosts educational events to assist registrants in meeting their obligations of the Continuing Competency Program. These events support the College’s mandate to enhance the quality of practice by its registrants by promoting the ability of its registrants to respond to changes in practice environments and advances in research, best – practice methods, and technology.
These educational events are attended by registrants of the College, audiologists and speech – language pathologists from neighbouring jurisdictions and other allied health professionals.
CASLPM is looking for dynamic presentations that inform attendees of proven best practices, push the leading edge of the profession, and motivate the pursuit of excellence.
Clinicians from all practice settings are encouraged to share their insight, experience, methods and research. Multidisciplinary presentations will be considered.

The College of Audiologists and Speech – Language Pathologists of Manitoba hosts Educational Webinars from time to time.
Webinars are typically 1 to 2 hours in length and are presented live in real time.
